HARP is a small mixed choir who perform Victorian and other music in Victorian costume mainly in the Wensleydale area.
The choir, made up of a dozen experienced singers was originally formed to raise money for charity. That was at Christmas 1998 when we sang carols in pubs, clubs and restaurants and to after-dinner audiences.
Our name, by the way, HARP has no direct link with angels. It's an acronym for 'Help Action Research Projects" - much more suitable as an acronym than our original title - 'Action Research Singing Ensemble'!
