Our Aims

We take our singing seriously but not ourselves - our aim is to entertain. We are delighted to receive invitations to sing. We are particularly committed to singing in homes for elderly people. We understand that the Victorian costume and music can spark periods of lucidity in people suffering from a confused state of mind. Many of these people cannot travel to entertainment functions, so we go to them. We raise money for the medical research charity, Action Research, which counts among its successes the funding of projects that developed the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound and hip replacements.
