Recent Successes

We raised £500 for the medical charity Action Research and people seemed to enjoy it so much that we decided to stick together and sing more. "You look like you've fallen off the back of a Christmas card," said one woman looking at our Victorian dress, "and you sound like angels." So we gave a summer concert, and sang at some private functions. We had a busy Christmas season on the eve of the Millennium, singing in 15 places in 16 days. We raised £950 for Action Research. Recently, we received a grant from a charitable trust called New Horizons to buy music and a portable keyboard. We are grateful to the Trust for helping us to put our singing on a sound footing.
