Welcome to Harrogate Astronomical Society
We are a friendly group which meets on the last Friday of every month at The Friends Meeting House, 12a Queens Parade at 7.30p.m.
We have the use ot the 19th century Harlow observatory tower and welcome new members and those with an interest in and enthusiasm for all forms of astronomy.
The club enjoys close links with other astronomical societies in the area, Bradford and York are our nearest astronomical neighbours (who said it was the moon), with Leeds, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire (Pontefract), Cleveland-and-Darlington, Scarborough clubs less that a light millisecond away.
HAS is affiliated to the Federation of Astronomical Societies.
