Manuscript Evenings
The circle has frequent manuscript evenings. These are evenings when members bring along pieces of their own work to read out. This will generally be unpublished work but may also be work in progress. Work brought to a manuscript evening may not be subsequently used in one of the circle competitions. The evening is a chance for members to try out work in a safe environment and (if required) to receive thoughts and constructive criticism. It is also an oppertunity to bring along 'problem pieces', after all, someone else might have the solution! Members do not of course have to bring work along in order to attend. If time permitts other writing issues may be discussed. Guests and visitors are of course welcome at such evenings. At the end of a shorter evening spare time may be used for manuscripts.
Meetings held at Ashdown House, Station Parade, Harrogate commencing at 7.45pm and concluding at approximately 9.45pm.
