A frustrated author who couldn't get a publisher for his book tested a theory he had that even Jane Austen would struggle to clinch a book deal in today's market.
David Lessman retyped Jane Austen's classics,Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion with a few name changes and sent them to eighteen publishers. Onley one realised he had plagiarised some of Austen;s finest work and the rest gave his efforts the brush-off. |
