Hambleton Amateur Radio Society exists for those who are interested in radio. We extend a hearty welcome to licensed amateurs, short-wave listeners and all who have been fascinated by the varied world of radio.
The majority of club members have taken the examinations to become licenced radio amateurs so can operate transmitters enabling them to contact people all over the world. Club activities cover many topics, like constructing equipment, experimenting with aerials, transmitting amateur television and operating radio.
Whatever your interest in this hobby, come and share it with us. If you'd like to know more, please pop into one of our club meetings or contact us. For further information ring Brian Alderson G3KJX, telephone 01609 772702 or Tim Allison G0TYM, telephone 01642 711334.
Our club meetings are fortnightly on a Wednesday night at the Mencap centre, off Quaker Lane in Northallerton. Check dates on the calendar.
