Hamsterley Bridge Club

HAMSTERLEY BRIDGE CLUB was founded in 1991 by Mr. and Mrs. David Latner to extend the range of activities available at Hamsterley Village Hall. In the early days most players were beginners and the founders provided Bridge lessons. Gradually, more experienced players joined the club. Today, the club enjoys hosting, on average, 10/11 tables of Duplicate Bridge per week. The club prides itself on providing a friendly atmosphere and catering for all standards of players.

A £1 ANNUAL FEE provides membership to Hamsterley Village Hall Association and there is a £1 table money charge at sessions every Tuesday from 7pm which includes tea/coffee and biscuits thus ensuring a cheap night's "entertainment!!"

Donations

Over the last five years the club has donated £2090 to local charities including Butterwick Hospice and Hamsterley Village Hall.
