Duplicate Bridge is played each Tuesday evening commencing at 7:00pm where new players and visitors are always welcome. A Mitchell movement is played giving winners for both N/S and E/W. The percentage scores are calculated by the scorer who uses them to update handicaps ready for: |
Monthly Handicap
The MONTHLY HANDICAP is held every second Tuesday of the month (except January and February). Each pair's final score is calculated according to the present handicap, ranging from -6 to +6, and a token prize presented. |
Mary & David Latner Trophy
At the beginning of each year partners play for the MARY & DAVID LATNER TROPHY in recognition of the founders of the club. This is the main competition of the year and played for during January and February. Each pair scores an average of their best five results over an eight week period, the highest being the winner. The average percentage is then used towards the starting handicap for the year with minor adjustments according to the monthly handicap results.
Once again Audrey Bainbridge and John Burnett have triumphed in this competition - their fourth consecutive win. Congratulations. |  |

Norah McGraghan Trophy
This trophy was kindly presented by the family of NORAH McGRAGHAN , a respected player who sadly died in 2001. The trophy is played for on the first Tuesday in June. A Mitchell movement with arrow switch is used to determine the winning pair.
