What our Members have done ...

Many of our members have been involved in amateur theatre for a great number of years, and have taken principal roles with other societies, both locally and in other parts of the country.

Chairman, Malcolm, has directed for us and for other societies as well as working in Secondary schools and staging very successful Charity concerts in a large theatre in the North-East of England.

Our Musical Director, George, has many years' experience as Musical Director for a number of societies, as a member of numerous orchestras with his expertise as a percussionist, and as an Examiner (worldwide) for his alma mater Trinity College London. He was for many years Head of Music in a local secondary school.

As we are members of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), we encourage our members to receive the recognition which NODA provides through its long service awards scheme.
