INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL Hunton and Arrathorne Community Primary School is at the heart of the village of Hunton in rural North Yorkshire. There are 45 full-time pupils on roll, making it smaller than many primary schools. The pupils are organised into three classes, KS1 (4 to 7 yrs), Lower KS2 (7 to 9 years)and Upper KS2 (9 to 11 years). German is taught in KS2; a new village hall on the green provides excellent indoor & outdoor sports facilities; music provision is unusually broad, with lessons available in violin, cello, double bass, guitar, recorder, all woodwind & brass instruments & a full orchestra plays every week. The whole school swims weekly and there is after school tuition in football, netball and golf. Admission to the reception class is in the September of the year in which children are five.
