Welcome to Hurworth Community Centre

The Hurworth Community Centre is situated in a Victorian residence built in 1875 and situated in the village of Hurworth on Tees, Co. Durham.

The Centre, known locally as �The Grange� is set in its own 14 acre grounds, a mixture of grass and wooded area and provides a hub for a wide variety of community activities and a centre for village life.

In addition to regular Social Club events, it provides a venue for classes and club activities ranging from Keep Fit and Snooker to Clarinet tuition and Pilates. A large hall,licensed bars and several meeting rooms are also available for private hire(weddings and parties).

The South Durham Society of Model Engineers became a resident section of the Hurworth Grange Community Centre in 1969, and welcomes all those interested in steam, electric or compressed air models of any type.
