Lanchester Writers

Lanchester Writers meet every Tuesday 2-4 pm in Lanchester Library.

We are a self run group and take it in turns to lead each session. This is voluntary and no-one has to lead until they feel confident to do so.

During the session we may write a poem, the beginning of a story or just something to pursue a creative idea. We produce some odd results at times but everything helps develop our writing skills and we have lots of fun.

The leader sets 'Homework' and we read these pieces at a later meeting. The members give feedback and positive criticism. We can also ask for opinions on anything else we have written.

Twenty pence a week is all it costs for tea/coffee and biscuits half way through the session.
