Malton Club Details

The club fishes with fly and worm for brown trout on a stretch of the River Browney in County Durham. Our water extends from the 'water-meetings', ¾ mile from Lanchester, (where the Smallhope Burn meets the river) downstream for 2 miles to the footbridge near Blackburn Farm.

For the competitive angler we organise trophy matches at various venues, and the Club League is fished over the season.

The Club meets on the last Thursday of every month at 8 pm in the Black Bull at Nettlesworth.
