About Us

NAPA Darlington is a member of the National Association of Providers of Activities for Older People. We are a group of activity organisers and care staff from care homes in Darlington and the surrounding area. Our belief is that engagement in activity is essential to the maintenance of physical and psychologival health and well-being. Many older people through illness, disability or social isolation , experience diminished health and well-being as a result of disengagement from activity. We organise sharing days in Darlington - low cost, workshop style seminars which offer information , training and plenty for discussion and debate.
