All races are held under the British Harness Racing Club Rules. All races are stewarded by the Eden Valley Harness Racing Association. Runners must be decalred at least 30 minutes before racing commences. No alteration to printed races allowed. No horse is allowed on track without a number cloth. A fine of £10 will be imposed on anyone who loses or damages the number cloth. The decision of the Judges or Handicappers is to be final without any appeal to law. Owners and Drivers compete on this condition. The committee reseve the right to refuse entries or admission to anyone and to remove any person from the course without assigning a reason for doing so. RANDOM DOPE TESTS MAY BE TAKEN ON ANY HORSE. Notice to Public and Competitiors Harness racing can be a dangerous sport. The Promoters, The North East Standardbred Association and Officials in any capacity, will not be held responsible for any injury, damages, or loss sustained by owners, trainers, drivers, horses, bookmakers, stall-holders or public. Public are advised not to place bets before official announcement of runners at race meetings.
