The following new members joined us on the dates as shown.
7th January 2003.
Robert (Bob) Alexander. Bob was called up on the 15th of November 1951, he served in Korea from September 1952 until September 1953 in the Royal Military Police. Bob lives in Duffus near Elgin in Morayshire.
25th of March 2003.
Donald Mackay. Donald was called up in 1951 serving in The Black Watch and in Korea from 1952 until 1953. He lives in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
2nd of April 2003.
Alexander (Sandy) Cruickshank Grigor. Sandy was called up in June 1955 and served with The Queens Own Highlanders in Korea from October 1955 until August 1956. Sandy lives with his wife Mary in Aviemore in Inverness-shire

Thomas Edward Goss. Tom was a regular soldier who served with the RAMC and served in Korea from May 1954 until August 1955, he lives at Grantown on Spey in Morayshire.
4th of July 2003.
George Jeffrey Dingwall. George served as a National Serviceman in Korea during 1952-3. George lives at Dingwall in Ross-Shire.
6th of August 2003.
George Cartwright Aitchison. George was a National Serviceman who served in the Royal Signals and in Korea from February 1953 until March 1954, he lives at Watten, nr Wick in Caithness.
12th of August 2003.
Eric Robert Mudie. Eric joined the army as a National Serviceman in 1950. He served in the K.O.S.B in Korea where he was commissioned and during the conflict was awarded the Military Cross. Eric transferred to this Branch from the Perth Branch and lives at Mosstodloch Nr Fochabers, in Invernessshire.

Kenneth Stewart. Kenneth served as a National Serviceman in the Black Watch in Korea from June 1952 until May 1953. He lives at Blairninich, by Strathpeffer in Ross-Shire.
14th December 2003.
Jeffrey Dawson, Jeffrey served as a regular soldier in the 1st Btln Black Watch in Korea from Novemeber 1952 until July 1953. He lives with his wife Jacqueline in Forgue Nr Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

Peter Hardie, Peter served with the RASC as a driver as was in Korea from October 1951 until July 1953, He lives in Inverness.

William (Willie) Cameron, Willie transferred to us from No 1 Branch at Perth, although a staunch member of that Branch he now suffers from a number of medical problems which make travel somewhat of difficult. He served in the 1 Comwel Div Signals Regt in Korea from May 1951 until December 1952. He joined the Army in 1937 serving with distinction in many theatres during the 2nd WW. We are honoured to have him with us. Willie lives at Ardersier Nr Inverness.

Catherine Butler.Catherine was for many years an associate member of the West Yorkshire Branch but now living in Inverness she decided that it would be prudent to join the local Branch. We are indeed pleased to welcome her to our ranks and trust that we shall maintain the very high standard of efficiency which she experienced with our West Yorksire comrades.

Walter Mather. Walter was a member of the 1st Battalion Black Watch (RHR) and served in Korea from October 1952 until July 1953. He lives at South Balmoor near Peterhead.
25th April 2006.
James C Henderson. Jim Henderson is our first member from the USA. He is a member of the Korean Veterans of Australia and served in Korea with the 96th Field Artillery from January to November 1956 and again from September 1958 to September 1959 with the 10th Armoured Cavalry. He lives in Whitinsville, MA.
8th August 2006.
Dr Calum Mackay. Calum responded to the National Recruiting advertisement and his application was sent to us to register him as a member of this Branch, he lives in Scrabster with his wife Norna. He served as a National Sereviceman in the K.O.S.B in Korea fromOctober 1951 until July 1952.
1st December 2006.
William Elliot. Brian Hough our National Recuiting Officer forwarded details of Bill Elliot who we are pleased to welcome as a new member of the Branch. He served in the Black Watch between August 1951 until May 1953 and in Korea from June 1952 until May 1953. He is currently living in Gloucestershire but plans to move into our area around March 2007.
