Annual tournament 2007 - Results and Photos

Despite a backlog in the mixed doubles competition of Wimbledon proportions, we reached a damp and dismal finals day with just one semi final to complete. The finals began at 11am under menacing skies, but we soldiered and despite a few spots of rain all the finals were completed by 4pm.

The pick of the finals was an enthralling men's doubles match which saw Ross Lumbard and Mark Edlington beat Martin Wilkinson and Ivo Marsik in a third set tie break. The mixed final was also a riveting contest which saw Phil Danby and Katie Dines sneak home 7-5, 7-6 against Martin Wilkinson and Brenda Edlington.
