The latest update includes details of the Charity Golf Day at Bedale Golf Club on 23.6.08.
At the meeting on Monday 21 February 2005 the first visible value of our new website was realised when we had a visit from Rotarian Dr Singh from the Rotary Club of Tunbridge Wells. He was working for two weeks at Leeming and his wife had found our website on the internet. |
Message from 2007/8 President Pat Ludiman
Many thanks to Peter Tweddle and the club for all their hard work over the last Rotary Year and it is with great pleasure that I take over the Presidency for the year 2007-2008.
Having been a member of the club since its formation in 1995, it is now time for me to put my small mark on it in whatever way I can.
Membership numbers have remained fairly constant over the last 12 years and although we are an effective small club I would like this year to increase our numbers by at least four. Im sure that all our existing members will help to search out those budding Rotarians out there in our community.
My fellow Rotarians are a happy friendly bunch whose friendship I value greatly. I look forward to Monday nights – long may the good fellowship continue. We are relatively informal compared to some clubs but at the same time we support many charities, our local community and the Rotary District activities – I am sure that this year our good work and good fellowship will continue.
Yours In Rotary
Pat
