CHRISTMAS DAY collection - this year the collection will be sent to the Kara project in South Bank, as Deacon Jane Gibson believes they are trying to become part of Action for Children (NCH). Please support this local charity. COFFEE MORNING Ways & Means Coffee Morning, Saturday 3rd January from 10am.Various stalls including Traidcraft, Raffle, Books, Action Aid & Cake Stall. Any baking for the cake stall will be very much appreciated. Everyone welcome. REV RUTH GEE Sunday 4th January 2009 - 6pm - Rev Ruth Gee - New Chair of the Darlington District. Ruth's first full Sunday in this circuit and we are honoured that the circuit planned her at Normanby. Please come along and hear her message - you will not be disappointed. Tickets £5 available from Sylvia Fairbrass. Everyone welcome. A WORSHIP CONSULTATION MEETING will be held at Church after the morning service on 11 January 2009. The aim of the meeting is to seek the views of all concerned about the worshipping life of this Church and to go through the questions from the Circuit Review. It is a very important meeting and we would be grateful if you could make every effort to attend. Please bring a faith lunch. CIRCUIT SERVICE Sunday 11th January 2009 - 6.30pm at Avenue Methodist Church. At this service Mr James Patron Bell will be recognised as a local preacher and our own Dave Cammish will be recognised as a lay hospital chaplain. We are providing FREE transport so please see notice board for more details & sign up by Sunday 4th January so that I can finalise the coach size. Thank you Keith. HELPING THE HOSPICE Many thanks to everyone for all the coins and stamps you saved for the Teesside Hospice Appeal. Can I ask for your help once again, in encouraging friends and family to save theirs this Christmastime.
