We pray for those in China who are touched by the Spirit but who are afraid openly to profess or practise their faith for any reason; for the Holy Spirit to inspire and counsel a new, younger generation of leaders who are gradually taking responsibility for the running and direction of the Chinese Church; that Chinese Christians will be able to work out what it means to be both Christian and Chinese, discovering a uniquely Chinese understanding that may inspire the World Church.
