Mission
The NEOAG is a non political umbrella organisation Representing local anti-opencast action groups in the north-east of England.
It aims to provide information and expert help to groups fighting opencast applications. It publishes the respected quarterly Digest, this contains information of activities in the region and nationally.
It provides a source of statistics regarding the current state of the opencast industry in the U. K. Members of the NEOAG regularly attend public inquiries as expert witnesses.
