The Public Examination into the forthcoming Regional Planning Guidance for the North East closed on 7th July 2000. It was reported that the Programme Office has been transferred back to Shotton Hall, Peterlee - where the core document library will remain open. The library will store audio copies of the proceedings which can be listened to on-site (although an appointment will be required to listen to the tapes).

The Participants have been asked to submit any further written statements relating to the topics discussed during the Public Examination by 14th July 2000. Any such statements will be circulated and a further week will be allowed for other participants to respond.
