At the 2007 NEVAC AGM it was decided to keep the
annual subscriptions for 2007 at £6.00 but it was
agreed to raise subs to £7.00 in 2008.
Arthur Potter and Alf Lindsey were elected on to
the Committee.
The NEVAC A.G.M.was held prior to the VAANE AGM on MONDAY 14th January 2008 at 6.50 pm.
Subs for 2008 are due - on or before - January 1st each year. Please send £7 cheque , payable to NEVAC to Secretary George Routledge along with the Application for membership / membership renewal form on this website.
It has become even more essential that members pay their subs early in the year due to the fact that England Athletics have now increased their affiliation fees to £5.00 per member. These fees are due in April.
A team of four (men)was entered in the Elswick Harriers 2.28 mile road relay on Easter Friday at Newburn. Geoff Henderson was the only member to compete - finishing in 15.38.
The Gordon Smith Wallsend Road Relays of just over 2 miles take place on 7th May 2008 Teams of three must contain at least one veteran.NEVAC can enter 3 vets per team. Entries are also accepted on the day. Contact G Routledge for further details.
NEVAC members who wish to take part in the VAANE Track & Field Championships in July 2008 must also be a member of VAANE. See their website for entry form and further details -or give your NEVAC Secretary a call.
