The object of the Club is to promote wider interest and knowledge in the art of floral design and allied subjects. The Club is affiliated to the North East Area of NAFAS. Registered Charity Number 1101348. The Club is a voluntary organisation and members are not paid for their work. In furtherance of this object the Club may: -

a) Develop a Programme of Events including Area and National Level Qualified Demonstrators, Speakers and Teaching Workshops.

b) Participate in local Church, Cathedral and village festivals.

c) Contribute to the local community by collaborating with other flower groups in a rota for Teesside Hospice and Durham Cathedral. The Club’s expertise is called upon to arrange flowers in local schools, and North Tees Hospital.

d) Extend its expertise to other local community groups and charities.

e) Make publications available for purchase and produce a Club Newsletter.
