Church Tower Centenary Celebrations 25 June – 1 July
Flower Festival
Teesside Flower Club with our own Flower Girls, Joyce and Winnie, arranged flowers on the theme ‘A Century of Change’. Decade by decade the flower arrangements explored and celebrated important 20th century events.
We are indeed grateful to all the ladies for the beautiful displays which graced our church.
Whilst church photography is notoriously difficult, I show below some examples from the display. |
Picture 1
 | Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo ,the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come.

When their blossoms open white?
By day the sun shall be sentry,
And the moon and the stars by night!
