 | The amazing open day........
yeh the open day
Saturday 25th November 2006, 11.30am till 3.00pm
The open day went great, we had about thirty visitors, gave some prizes out and even got some sound advice from people to help the group continue. Some of the comments in our book reflect the value this group has on peoples sense of wellbeing.

Feat Of Clay
In the near future Phoenix Art Group will be taking part in a project called Feat Of Clay.
This project is being facilitated by Gassan Mohammed and managed by Adrian Moule. Gassan is an international sculptor from Iraq and will be working with Phoenix art Group to produce a wall plaque using clay.
In partnership with Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust, Arts Council England North East, Tees Valley Arts, St Mary's Parish Rooms, Phoenix Art Group and Adrian Moule, Gassan will create a wall plaque that will be housed in the Primary Care Trusts building in North Ormesby, adding to the enhancement of the buildings atmosphere.
This is a prime example of Adrian Moule's ability to draw in key members of a community to develop artworks and help them to deliver a valuable contribution to their own environment. This helps to bridge the gap sometimes opened by organisations sourcing labour from outside of the imediate community, develops a sense of ownership and creates a micro ecconomy. |
