Three Public Events Held in Hartlepool
Hartlepool Forum recently asked the people of the PCT area what they thought of the healthcare service provided.
Three public events were held in March, 15th March at Belle Vue Community Centre, 21st March at Ownton Manor Community Centre, and 29th March at West Vue Community Centre. Health professionals from the NHS and Social Service were invited to speak on the planned changes in services in the town, and there were questions from the floor. The Patient Advice & Liaison Service held a display at the event to promote the work that they carry out on the patients behalf. Questionnaire were distributed and a raffle was drawn at each event, with the prize being a basket of fruit.
The purpose of the events was to engage the public in both the Forum's work and the services their receive themselves from the NHS. The Forum will be able to use the results from the questionnaire, which will be published in due course, to inform the relevant bodies of the needs, views and wishes of the town and influence services accordingly.
THE REPORT FROM THESE MEETINGS IS NOW AVAILABLE FROM THE HARTLEPOOL OFFICE |
