Scarborough & North East Yorkshire NHS Trust - PPI Forum

Scarborough & North East Yorkshire PPI Forum was set up in December 2003. The Forum currently consists of nine people who bring their own experiences and issues to the forum for discussion.

The Forum has completed several pieces of work in the past year including visiting the hospitals in the area, involvement in PEAT inspections, and monitoring PALS. The Forums work program for April 2005 - March 2006 includes visits to hospitals, nursing audit, and involvment into PROCEDURE 21. A full account of the Forums work and their planned future activities is available in the Annual Report. The Forum hold meeting in public and these are advertised in the local media.
