Tees Esk &Wear Valleys Mental Health PPI Forum
Tees & North East Yorkshire (TNEY) PPI Forum was set up in December 2003, and merged with the neighbouring County Durham & Darlington (CDDPS)PPI Forum following the Mental Health Trust mergers in April 2006. The new Forum was named Tees Esk & Wear Valleys (TEWV)PPI Forum. The Forum currently consists of 18 people who bring their own experiences and issues to the forum for discussion.
The former TNEY PPI Forum worked on several issues including auditing the Patient Advice & Liasion Service (PALS), highlighting concerns expressed by service users over the decline of Stepping Stones, and working with Scarborough Whitby & Ryedale PPI Forum to raise concerns with the unmet need for Pyschology Services in North East Yorkshire Locality.
Appointed meetings are held in public and advertised via a local press. You can also check the dates of the Public meetings on the Events Calendar on this website.
