Types Of Function
THE BAND does a variety of engagements throughout the year either as a full ensemble or small group. This helps towards the upkeep of the band. We are also available for marches and processions and have marched at events such as The Kendal Torchlight Festival, Whit Friday Marches and Durham Miners Gala.
We have a very wide repertoire of music which can be tailored to your requirements. We have staged concerts in churches, clubs and for local business and organisations, as well as the more traditional park concerts.
Our ten piece band has performed at both messes at RAF Boulmer, several freemason lodges and at various other business functions, providing background music. This is our small ensemble performing at a private function at the Three Horse Shoes in Lumley.
