The Cleveland in High Street West I first went into The Cleveland in 1957 when it was a Youngers House. The layout has changed somewhat over the years and the turnover in management has been on par with a football club! However the latest landlords have not only halted the decline of the pub but turned it around with a regular bar clientele which revolves around the pool team and a steady programme of events as follows: Monday: Band Box with Dave and John Tuesday: Pool Night - Competitions and Killer Thursday: The Croaky Karaoke with Norman Friday: Redcar Rocks with Various Groups/Artists Saturday: General Knowledge Quiz Sunday Lunch: Best value in town £2.50!
