Concerts in the Memorial Hall
 All profits from events are for the upkeep and improvement of facilities at the hall for the benefit of the community. Tickets for under 16s are usually half adult price - please confirm before booking. (Please note that this does not imply that all events are suitable for young children.)

Bram Taylor with Roly Hindmarch
 Fri 17th April - Bram Taylor with Roly Hindmarch. Support by Loose Connection - Lancastrian, Bram plays acoustic guitar and duet concertina. He has vast experience from performing and entertaining audiences in most parts of the British Isles and the USA. His distinctive vocals and sensitive delivery along with his renowned sense of humour, blend well with the solid musicianship of Roly who plays bass and acoustic guitars. £10, door £12 |
Duncan Chisholm & Ivan Drever
 Fri 15th May - Duncan Chisholm & Ivan Drever, with their dynamic performance of fiddle, guitar and song are one of Scotland's top duos, having toured together for 18 years. Their partnership has been described as 'an expression of the deep wells of the Scottish people'. Duncan's latest album, Farrar, won Album of the Year at the 2008 Scots Trad Music Awards. Together they wrote 'Heart and Soul' used in the Oscar winning film 'Good Will Hunting'. Support by Lacewing. £11 in advance, £13 on the door. |
