Reid Street School opened in 1912, it is a traditional building situated around two attractive quadrangles which function as outdoor classrooms. There are 480 children in fifteen classes, the school employs the equivalent of eighteen full-time teachers and four teaching auxiliaries. The school enjoys a good reputation which is reflected in the excess of applications above our admission limit of seventy. The nearby Denes area with its streams and mixed woodland provides a green environment as a focus for many areas of the curriculum.
