Welcome to Richmond & District Round Table
 The Richmond & District Round Table is part of Area 10 (North Yorkshire and South Durham) and meets at The Black Lion Hotel, Finkle Street, Richmond at 8pm. on the first and third Thursday of each month (Exc. July and August).
What are we all about ?
Put simply, Round Table is all about fun, friends and fund-raising. It's about trying new activities and sports, making new friendships, sharing new and varied experiences, achieving personal goals, enjoying the satisfaction of raising money and helping your community.
It's the perfect opportunity to expand your horizons in more ways than one. But most of all, it's about having a good time.

Our Activities
The focal point of Round Table is its regular meetings. Richmond & District Round Table normally meets twice a month, usually in the evening and sometimes with a meal.
The regular meeting is the forum for speakers and many other forms of activity and entertainment. This can vary from a meeting with a guest speaker, talking many varied subjects such as Russian submarines, Heraldry, alternative medicines and wine tasting (to name but a few) to a meeting in a hot air balloon, or it may be just a meal and include discussions on forthcoming social and service projects.
Visitors and potential members will always be made particularly welcome as Round Table provides an ideal opportunity to establish new friendships.

'We Don't Just Sit There!'
The sky is literally the limit when it comes to the numerous activities that Round Table members find to take part in:
Parachuting, gliding and flying
Abseiling down tall buildings
Driving tanks and go-karts
Sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving
In fact, the only limit is your enthusiasm, so if there's something that you've always wanted to do then Round Table is the ideal chance for you to have a go. That's why our unofficial motto is: 'We don't just sit there.' |
