I would like to help the CAB more but I don’t know how?
The CAB are always looking to recruit more volunteers, so if you think that you might enjoy the challenge of becoming a voluntary advice or administrative worker, please get in touch. |
We have volunteers from all ages. They join for many different reasons from work experience or just for the challenge and satisfaction of helping others. We will train you and pay your travel expenses. |
How do you choose your advisers? |
We don’t ask for special qualifications, because everyone is fully trained by the CAB Service. We want people who are good listeners and are open minded. You need to be able to work well with clients, and do basic maths. |
We serve the whole community and so we need people with language skills who understand different local cultures. We welcome people with disabilities.
