Agencies such as Connexions, the Job Centre and Employment agencies will be the source of referrals to the scheme. Who can use Wheels 2 Work? Conditions of eligibility for the scheme are: *Person must live in the Hambleton or Richmondshire districts. *Person must be aged 16+ years. *Person requires a form of transport to enable them to travel to employment, training or education. *The daily journey must be a practical distance for a moped. *There is no suitable alternative form of transport available Duration of moped loan Successful candidates will receive a moped for six months after completing their Compulsory Basic Training (at no cost to the individual). Safety equipment will also be provided. Insurance, tax and servicing are covered. A contribution of £5.00 per week will cover general tyre wear. For Further Information...
