About...
 | ‘Wheels 2 Work’ is a moped leasing scheme aimed at helping people get over the initial problem of getting to work or work related training where no suitable alternative transport exists.
Agencies such as Connexions, the Job Centre and Employment agencies will be the source of referrals to the scheme.

Who can use Wheels 2 Work?
 Conditions of eligibility for the scheme are:
*Person must live in the Hambleton or Richmondshire districts.
*Person must be aged 16+ years.
*Person requires a form of transport to enable them to travel to employment, training or education.
*The daily journey must be a practical distance for a moped.
*There is no suitable alternative form of transport available |
Duration of moped loan
 Successful candidates will receive a moped for six months after completing their Compulsory Basic Training (at no cost to the individual).
Safety equipment will also be provided. Insurance, tax and servicing are covered but a contribution cost will be required. |
