Ripon Local Studies Research Centre

The centre is open 10-4pm, Monday - Friday

Its purpose is to encourage, promote and facilitate research into the history and archaeology of Ripon and the surrounding area.

To provide research facilities for education projects and for those pursuing personal projects and interests.

To serve as a Drop-In Centre where the general public can report finds and have Local Studies queries answered.

The Centre, established in 1999, is affiliated to Ripon Improvement Trust (Reg. Charity No. 1002851).

The Centre is pleased to receive enquiries relating to local or family history via e-mail,telephone or fax.
