Rhythm Street are a 5 piece rock/pop band from North East England.
Their melodic approach to songwriting gives a continuity to the broad range of styles employed in the band. With a tight rhythm section and some blinding musicianship, they maintain a hold on the listener - either Live or on CD.
In Feb 2000, Hard Times reached #10 in Britpop, with Dirty Voices getting to the #6 spot for a month and followed by Heights at #16 (September 2000). The collaboration with superb vocalist Tom Fox gave them their first #1 with Mary Lou (Feb 2001).
They appear frequently in the top 30 overall Pop/Rock bands on IUMA and have received over 30,000 downloads so far....
