The band formed in 1961 with a 100 strong marching members. The first carnival was on May 1st 1963 and it was Labour day in Newcastle.
The band have a strong following and are supported by the local community. We have 35 marching members in the band todate. The band has just recently moved from Junior section to Premier.
The age range is between 6 years and 35+ new members are always welcome.
