St Andrews connection with the arts

A few years ago new pulpit falls, burses and veils were commissioned. Three modern sets were designed by the studio of Juliet Hemingray and one (the green) was carried out to the highest traditional standards by the Greatham Embroiderers Guild.

A new carved top to the font by lettering artist Peter Furlonger, who has also designed a glass ewer, which was made at the National Glass centre by Roger Tye was installed in 2002.

There are also a number of pieces of modern calligraphy in the church.
