New Year Party
 | We recently tried putting together a collage of pictures depicting our parish life. We weren't very surprised by the number of bottles and glasses in the photographs we used.
Our New Year party shows a picture which hasn't changed. People at St. Cuthbert's have a good time. And this was a very good start to our year.

Late Arrivals
 | For everyone there was a welcoming glass of Buck's Fizz. For Betty and Ron, even before they got their coats off.
Earlier Arrivals
 | This group had their feet well under the table - and were nearest the food!
Nigel and Mike
 | You can work out which is which...
High spirits
 | Fortunately, things didn't get any more rowdy than this.
The feasting goes on...
 | for some of our younger guests.
... and on...
 | for those in the "middle-range" of life.
In the kitchen
 | No broth, but two of the cooks...
Headwear of the evening
 | ... definitely belonged to Edna Hume.
The hat can be coiled for easy storage.
Conversations abound
 | .. with our Curate in the middle.
Low-key dancing..
 | ... but the night was yet young.
Burns Night is yet to come...
 | ... we couldn't figure out what Jim was carrying, but it obviously had some significance.
Sit down, please.
 | Marjorie calms Jim down...
Final thanks
... to Bev Anderson, dancing the night out with Laura. Many, many people worked so hard to make the celebration such a success, but Bev has been our inspiration and energy. And is even now planning what might come next...
