Worship at Saint Cuthbert's
 | St. Cuthbert’s is an Anglican Church (Church of England), but members come from a range of backgrounds. Everyone is very welcome to join in our activities and worship.
These are our main Sunday services:
8.00a.m. Holy Communion
10.00a.m. Parish Eucharist & Sunday School
6.00p.m. Evening Prayer
Sometimes people are worried about fitting in - but don’t worry! All sorts of people are to be found here. And the aim is not to get you to conform: it’s to allow each person to discover the extent of God’s love for us - in worship, prayer, the honest exploration of faith, and service of one another.
Services take a variety of forms:
a quiet traditional 8a.m. Eucharist,
using the Book of Common Prayer;
the Sung Parish Eucharist at 10a.m.,
an offering for the whole community, making the most of the new Common Worship liturgy;
the 6p.m. service in different forms
including
Choral Evensong (normally 1st Sunday of month);
Taize Vespers (3rd Sunday, using resources from Taize and Iona);
and Evening Prayer from Common Worship.
There's normally also a quiet Eucharist at 10a.m. on Thursdays.
Morning Prayer is said at 8.30a.m. Monday to Friday.
Evening Prayer is said at 5.00p.m. on Tuesdays.
Other worship as announced.
Children and Young People
bring their own special contribution to our worship. They are welcome in our regular services, and have their own activites too. There's a Children's Corner with toys for those who wish to use it.

Sunday School
 | Sunday School meets in the Church Hall at 10a.m. during school term, and welcomes children aged three years upwards. Its members join the rest of the congregation for the conclusion of the Parish Eucharist.
