Competitions entered

Saltburn Tennis Club is a member club of the Lawn tennis Association and we have benefited from advice on club development as well as financial help. Members are eligible to enter LTA run competitions though no member has taken advantage of this to date.

The Club is a member of the Cleveland League which includes teams from Thirsk to Darlington/Sedgefield.
We enter: Adults 3 mens teams
3 ladies teams
1 mixed team
Juniors Girls Under 16 & Under 13
Boys Under 16 & Under 13
Veterans 1 team plays Sept-Dec (men>45, ladies>40)
In addition we enter the Cleveland Cup with a men’s team and a ladies team and the Morris Cup with a mixed team.
We host the Durham & Cleveland Tennis Coaches Association Open Juniors Tennis Tournament, now run on behalf of the D.C.T.C.A. by club members and attracting juniors from the whole area covered by the League in the age group up to 16.
We also host the Essie Morrison Open Mixed Tournament (adults). Both of these tournaments attract a good entry from Saltburn Club members.
