The Black Dolphin!

The Black Dolphin is aclled the Black Dolphin obviously because, unlike other dolphins, It's skin can sometimes appear black. It also has names like the Chilean Dolphin or the White-Bellied Dolphin. Very few people have heard of the Black Dolphin because it is very rarely seen. Because no one has seen them close up we can't really tell what they look like but we have a vague idea. They are thought to have a large dorsal fin with a white lipped beak. Even though they are called Black Dolphins their real colour is actually dark grey which can look black at certain angles. It's nature is thought to be quite timid and that is why we don't see it very much. Like i said before, we don't really have many pictures of them so we don't know how big the babies are but we know that the adults are not that big, the average does not even reach 6ft.
