David and Pauline our village newsletter about activities at the community centre died a death. I can tell you that our village is 1 of 12 benefiting from the Single Regeneration Budget round6 at the moment. Some residents have formed an Environmental Action Group and held an open day at the centre to let people see suggested changes to our area. A youth shelter (bus stop type of thing) is planned for the cross roads leading down to the busty - somewhere for the youngsters to hang around in. Planting around the playground is planned and one of the unadopted roads will be surfaced. I live near the water tower and our unadopted road is disgraceful - we plan to sort it but know it will cost lots of money. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll keep other information until later - just to keep you interested - I hope? regards,
