The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation with more than three and a half million members worldwide. Though the lives and the experience of the MU may differ widely depending on where they are, they are all joined together by their shared belief in the importance of family values.
They run projects and activities to encourage and support families in every day life – locally, nationally and internationally. The MU has volunteers all over the country who give their time to important initiatives – for example, the MU accredited Parenting Programme and the ‘Up to Speed’ drugs awareness initiative – in their local communities.
We have an active group in Stockton, that meet regularilly on the afternoon of the 2nd Monday in the month, in the vestry, Stockton Parish Church, generally on Mondays |
