 | | Well done wansbeck council you got it wright this time. I am refering to the promanade you built this makes it easy for all to accsess i did manage to fish this area in the summer all you need is light rod, tackle 3 to 4oz wight 1.0 hook and find wrag worm the best bait. you just need to cast about 20 to 30 yards and could catch plaice, codling, coalies, dabs, and the eating crabs. I cought a 5lb and 3lb plaice plus 3 small codling. This is a high water mark but dont worry if you have your heaver gear with you. You can aways fish CHURCH POINT at low tide this is one of the best low marks i have ever seen it has yielded 25lb cod in the past but be prepared to lose gear due rocks and kelp. |
