We are very well equipped
Equipment
Staging
A modular design is used for maximum flexibility. When fully erected with a 20ft (6m) Proscenium the stage is 32ft (9.75m) wide by 18ft (5.5m) deep. It is 2ft (0.6m) high.
A smaller 1ft (0.3m) high stage can be erected in any location within the hall for theatre in the round.
Scenery
In addition to a curtained set the group has a full set of hardboard faced Scenery Flats, 10ft (3m) high in varying widths up to 4ft (1.2m), also included are internal and external Door and Window Flats.
A small workshop exists for the manufacture of new scenery.
Costume
The group has its own extensive Wardrobe with facilities to alter or to design and manufacture new costumes.
Properties
A small area within the Wardrobe is used for storing properties.
Lighting
Theatre Luminaries (Lights) of various types, including Spot, Fresnel, Flood and Par Cans are controlled though a 48 channel DMX (Digital Multiplex) Desk and a 24 channel Dimmer Pack. Lighting changes can be pre-programmed or operated manually.
There are also Strobe and UV (Ultra-violet) lighting capabilities.
Sound
The sound system is based around a 350W Stereo Amplifier. Control is through a 14 channel Mixing Desk and Effects Unit. Sound is output through a pair of 120W three way Loudspeakers.
Sound input sources are Microphones, Cassette Tape and Mini-disc Recorders and a C.D. Player.
Our sound Library has most of the usual and many unusual effects.
Effects
Include Fluid Based Smoke (Fog) Generators and a Pyrotechnics (Pyroflash) Control System. Both can be operated remotely.
