Startforth Village in Teesdale, County Durham
 Welcome to the home page of Startforth village, in beautiful Teesdale, County Durham.
The village sits on the south bank of the River Tees adjacent to Barnard Castle. There are three distinct parts to the village, High Startforth, Low Startforth and Startforth Park.
There are various organisations that build up and are part of the community. These include Startforth Parish Council, Startforth Morritt Memorial Church of England Primary School, Holy Trinity Parish Church, Startforth Community Association and Startforth Park Residents' Association.
